Description
Popular among rock climbers is The Streaked Wall, a spectacular rock formation in Zion National Park west of Canyon Junction. Its eastern face is continuously overhanging and nearly 2000 ft. (610 m) in length. Rising above The Streaked Wall are mound-like white Navajo sandstone peaks called The Beehives. The Sentinel stands watch over the entrance to Zion Canyon and sits across from the Court of the Patriarchs. It is one of the most prominent figures in the park.
